Client Account Auditor
*Monthly review of our current bookkeeper’s data entries in each client’s QuickBooks file to ensure consistency with past transaction entries, the correct GL account coding has been used, account reconciliations have been completed, client account balances are accurate, etc.
*Monthly review of client financial statements.
*Monthly reporting to the lead bookkeeper/owner once our client’s books have been audited each month.
Onboarding Specialist
*Communication with each new client to coordinate the onboarding of their business as our bookkeeping client. This includes sending the intake forms to request their company information, to request passwords for access to their online accounts and other data, and requesting accountant access to their QuickBooks file(s), etc.
Onboarding/Forensic Bookkeeper
*Getting new client books cleaned up once they have been onboarded. This usually requires high level/forensic bookkeeping skills to get client account balances correct, reconciled to date, and moved into bookkeeping maintenance status for our current bookkeeper.
Skills & Qualifications:
*High level of experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online software.
*Understand how to use Office 365 including One Drive, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
*Incredible attention to detail.
*Have an analytical mind.
*Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Excellent data entry skills.
*Strong math skills.
*Interpersonal and customer service skills.
*Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including A/P, A/R, inventory, and payroll entry.
*Understanding of accounting principles.
*Able to keep client data confidential.
*Be very thorough.
Education & Experience:
*HS Diploma or equivalent.
*QuickBooks experience is a must.
*Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
Position Info:
*10-15 hours/week to start. Our business is growing so more hours will likely be available.
*$24 – $26 per hour DOE.
*Preference will be given to candidates that reside in the Four Corners Area of Southwestern Colorado but any qualified candidate is invited to apply for this position. This is a remote work position, after a training period.
